TATNEFT in cooperation with GIPROBIOSINTEZ received a positive opinion from the Main Department of State Expertise for the construction of a microbial protein production facility at the existing site of the gas processing plant of the Tatneftegazpererabotka Division of PJSC Tatneft named after V.D. Shashin to produce microbial protein based on bacteria growing on methane contained in natural gas.
Construction of a DREAMFEED® microbial protein production unit with a capacity of 1,000 tons per year is planned. This high-protein product is registered with Rosselkhoznadzor as a feed additive for balancing and enriching the diets of piglets, broiler chickens, cattle and fish with protein.
This plant is the first stage in the construction of a large-scale plant for the production of high-quality feed protein.
